Monica is a multi Walkley award-winning journalist. In her 40-year career, she hosted prime-time shows for the ABC including ‘Media Watch’, ‘PM’ and ‘The World Today’. She is the author of the best-selling “Russia: Which Way Paradise?”, which details the collapse of Soviet communism. Monica received an OAM in 1992 in recognition of her work as a foreign correspondent in Moscow. She was formerly the head of journalism at UTS and is now the co director of the UTS Centre for Media Transition.
