Azucena is a political and media adviser with more than fifteen years of experience in journalism and five years’ experience in the Australian government sector. A former Spanish radio journalist and television presenter with a strong interest in social justice, she holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Political Science, and a Master’s degree in Development Practice with a major in Politics of Global Development. Azucena’s media involvement in Australia includes 4EB and ABC. Internationally, she’s also a researcher with the Geneva Institute of International Relations on topics of human rights and global socio-political dynamics. She’s passionate about cultural diversity, international relations, and unconscious bias towards multiculturalism.
